About OPENSKY
A specialist IT and cyber security provider for UK businesses.
OPENSKY Technologies is a UK managed service provider based in Sheffield, working with small and medium businesses across the country.
We're deliberately small. Work is delivered by senior engineers with escalation-level experience across Microsoft 365, Azure, Intune, networking, and security — the people other providers keep behind two tiers of helpdesk. You deal with someone who understands your environment rather than a rotating queue of first-line staff.
Security is the thread running through everything we do. OPENSKY is Cyber Essentials certified and holds IASME Cyber Assurance Level 1, and we're working towards appointment as an IASME Certification Body. Every client environment we manage is configured to Cyber Essentials standards as a baseline.
Our Approach
Documented properly
Every system we build or take over is documented: what's configured, why, and how to recover it. You own that documentation. If you ever leave us, you leave with it.
Straight answers
We tell you what we'd do if it were our own business — including when something isn't worth spending money on. No manufactured urgency, no padding the quote.
Security as standard
Multi-factor authentication, managed devices, enforced patching, and tested backups are part of every engagement, not chargeable extras bolted on afterwards.
