Managed IT Support
Proactive monitoring, maintenance, and unlimited remote support for a fixed monthly cost — so IT problems stop reaching your desk.
What's included
Most IT problems are predictable. Disks fill up, backups silently fail, patches don't apply, licences lapse, and a device quietly drops off management. Managed IT Support exists to catch those things before they become your problem.
We monitor your systems continuously, apply security and feature updates on a controlled schedule, and give your team a direct route to senior engineering support when something does go wrong. You get one predictable monthly cost with no hourly billing and no incentive for us to leave problems unsolved.
Every managed agreement includes:
Unlimited remote support for your users, workstations, and servers during business hours
24/7 proactive monitoring of servers, endpoints, backups, and critical services with automated alerting
Patch and update management across Windows, macOS, and third-party applications on a controlled schedule
Endpoint protection management — antivirus and Microsoft Defender deployment, policy enforcement, and alert response
Backup monitoring and verification — because an unverified backup is not a backup
Device and licence management through Microsoft Intune and Entra ID, including onboarding and offboarding
Asset and documentation register kept current, so you always know what you own and how it's configured
Quarterly service reviews covering performance, risks, and what to plan for next
Optional additions: managed print, hosted services, on-site support visits, and out-of-hours cover for critical systems.
Who it's for
Managed IT Support suits UK businesses of roughly 5 to 100 users who need dependable IT without employing a full-time internal team — typically professional services firms, accountants, solicitors, and small manufacturers where downtime has a direct cost.
How it works
Every agreement starts with a free assessment of your current environment. We document what you have, identify the gaps, and quote a fixed monthly price based on your actual user and device count. No lock-in beyond an agreed notice period, and no charge for the assessment whether or not you proceed.
Security built into every agreement
OPENSKY is Cyber Essentials certified and IASME Cyber Assurance certified. Every managed client is configured to Cyber Essentials standards as a baseline, not as an optional extra — multi-factor authentication, supported software, controlled admin access, and enforced patching from day one.
